It was in March when my cousin handed me a plain white robe and asked me to transform it into a panda. It was just a request, so there was no rush. Although a few days after that, I already bought a black fabric that I will be using for that. Sloth, however, set in. So the question of when will I be starting with the panda remained unanswered.
But after over 2 months of procrastination, I decided to get it over and done with. I honestly needed to drag myself into doing it, since I wasn't really in the mood for sewing.
Anyways, I mustered up all my will, and finished it.
Too bad I remembered to take a 'before' picture after I finished.
HAHA.
Anyways,
US as PANDA...
wow, you made this all by yourself. i admire people with the knack for needleworks cuz i dont have the talent. this was a nice panda robe!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteIt really pays to be patient. :)
That's lovely. You are very creative. Hope I'll learn how to sew and transform old dress into a beautiful and fashionable dress.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteWell, it's never too late to learn. :)
Wow, another beautiful creation! You're really making me want to get my own sewing kit and sew away. Although in my case, I still have a long way before I'd be anywhere near your prowess.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYou should start sewing. Who knows? You might be really good at it.
This is awesome! Please do not stop from sewing :) this might be the start of a new business. When I was still studying in Miriam College, the pre-school had an annual activity and they were all in costumes just like your creation. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteWell, I don't know how I could stop now. I have a lot of things I want to sew.
This is so cute! :D I'm a panda addict myself so I want one too! Anyway, you can definitely sew really good so keep it up! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteAnother panda addict! :)
You and my cousin could get along!
wow! this is nice. kids would love to take a bath more. or are willing to be taken out of the water if they get to wear this.
ReplyDeleteAnd would definitely pose for pictures. :)
DeleteHAHA.
Thanks.
You did great with your Panda project! You're good at sewing, which I'm not :D
ReplyDeleteKeep it up!
Thanks. :)
DeleteWell, I wasn't always this good. I guess practice just made me better.
Your panda looks so cool! I wish I can sew like you. I have always wanted to create clothes and costumes specially for my dancesport kids. But I still make us of the needle and thread by sewing sequins and rhinestones on their costumes. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteIt's never too late to start learning. :)
You're not doing an easy job, btw. That takes a lot of patience. And you're making their costumes prettier.
Nice project! It looks good and can be used in costume parties.
ReplyDeleteand pictorials as well.
Deletehaha.
thanks! :)
aliw naman...at may paws talaga... :D
ReplyDeleteinggit naman ako, you know how to sew... your babystar is one lucky girl to have a mom who knows how to sew... :D
we saw a panda jacket with paws din kasi, and I really liked it, kaya even though my cousin didn't ask for the paw, ginawa ko.
Deletethanks, but I know I'm even luckier to have her.
so cute, you really have a knack in sewing and making beautiful things...inggit lang...
ReplyDeletehaha. thanks :)
DeleteOMG so cute! I lurve panda!
ReplyDeleteThanks. You and my cousin would get along. :)
DeleteHahaha, nice one Panda-kekoks! You made this yourself? Great! I like the pic the one you are biting a leaf, akin to real panda! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThat wasn't me biting the leaf, btw.
That was my panda-addict cousin who asked me to make the robe.
So cute! Can I order a couple of that for my little ones. Tee-Hee!
ReplyDeleteWah it's amazing you have advanced sewing skills na. How long have you been sewing?
ReplyDeleteI only started recently and ... well...I suck! XD I'm having a lot of trouble picking out fabric & making patterns :/
Thank you. I've been sewing for almost 2 years already on/off. I usually just play with needles and threads only when I feel like it. But I'm more enthusiastic these days.
DeleteYeah, picking out fabric & making patterns is a lot of work, especially the patterns part, really my least favorite. But the learning process is fun. I used to know ZERO about fabrics, I didn't even know they have names. haha. But some names are familiar now.
I guess it comes with practice talaga noh? Wow 2 years! I hope I improve din fast. Thanks for replying :D This gave me hope..haha *frustrated at sewing* XD
DeleteYeah, really, practice makes perfect. :)
Deletehaha... that's a cute costume... :)
ReplyDeleteThat's really nice! I admire your creativity! :)
