Tinkerbell Shoes

The school year's almost over when I started noticing my daughter coming home from school without her socks on. She then, one day, told me that her shoes were already a  little snug with her socks on. No wonder she removes her socks after class. It's a good thing school's almost over then. The best part? It happened at the right time. I was looking for a doll shoes to match her tinkerbell dress. And since it fits her well without her socks on, it was perfect. :)

And so, here's how I made her tinkerbell shoes:

1. Wipe off dusts

 2. Remove bows and straps

3. I applied mod podge and sprinkled glitters, which was messy. Another way to do this is to mix the glitters to the mod podge before application.

4. Seal it with mod podge. It didn't reach the glossiness I wanted, so I also used a clear acrylic spray paint.

5. Add the white pom poms.

And that's it. :)

vain in pink

Oh, how vain she has become!

I'm linking this to Pink Friday and Pink Saturday because of her pink ring, pink necklace, pink hair bows, pink camera, and pink tutu, which I'm also linking to Make it, Wear it, and Create with Joy, since I made it myself.

Starbucks Cupcake ;)

No, this isn't from Starbucks.
No, this isn't a Frappe.
Yes, this is SPECIAL. :)

It's special because someone special had it custom-made for me.
NOT special - someone special.
NOT special - retarded... or maybe? :))
HAHA.

It's from a cousin.
She's special probably because we're both semi-retarded.
She's like my twin cousin.
I was born ten days after her. ;)
We do almost everything together, from birth, til now.

Baby Alive as Tinkerbell

The moment my daughter and I saw Hasbro's Baby Alive: My Real Baby doll, we just fell in love with her. But before buying her, to make sure she'll be worth it, I did some research. I got excited when I found out we could dress her up. The excitement was short-lived, though. The only baby alive doll accessories available here in the Philippines are the food, juice, and diapers. But it didn't stop me from buying her, of course. It was love at first sight. How can anybody or anything stop me? HAHA. But it also didn't stop me from dressing her up. It's a good thing Bear Cuddlers offer not only a wide variety of teddy bears, but clothes for them as well. Although her clothes size is quite hard to find. Animalandia also has a wide selection of clothes, but they're quite pricey.

Anyways, I'm planning to dress up my daughter as tinkerbell. I'm almost done with her dress, but a little skeptic about it's design. So I decided to make one for Princess, our baby alive doll, first.

So here's Princess as Tinkerbell.

Her wings might follow soon, since my Real Princess is asking for it. :)
