Tutu Apron

After weighing thoughts and feelings regarding the tutu apron, I decided to finish the apron tutu yesterday morning. Sure, it's too much. But it's labor of love, and my daughter loves it. So, if she's proud of it, and wants to tell the world, why should I stop her? Plus, don't we want to see our kids at their happiest? After all, wearing something too much isn't a crime, except for Joan Rivers. :)

Anyways, a glimpse:
tutu apron
what she's holding, btw, is a mini cheese grater :)

And my brother's:

I finished these for over 24 hours, so yes, my THUMB is SORE.
But, one of these days, I will be, as suggested by fellow blogger, Lalah, and agreed by Rosemarie, Vera and Olga, doing a second apron.
Although, Miss`Chievous support was, of course, valued. :)

  1. I prefer wearing too much than wearing none. Hahaha :D

  2. The apron looks very cute! I bet you have many more projects in mind for her and please post it some more so that we could view it too. Have a great week ahead...

By the way, you might engage in having a business soon too of creating RTW for mom and daughter! ♪( ´θ`)ノ♥

I do have a lot in mind for her.

      And as for the business,
I have always loved the idea of mom and daughter RTW, but engaging to that kind of business never occured to me before. I love what I'm doing, and I do it for fun and for the love of my daughter. Maybe I could consider putting up a business once I am prepared.

My school days are a blur to me now, the only thing clear is I didn't know then that I could sew. So, after I have sewn an apron (not this one) for my daughter, I was thrilled.

Really? You made her a dress for a wedding? Wow. You should let me see it. I love seeing kids wearing labors of love.
I love tutu. They're the easiest to make, and loveliest to see.

*envious* I'm currently laboring on my sewing projects.
ugh my skills suck ( T-T) the 3 dolls I made looked like an evil cat monster. *lol*

I hope I get better at it so I can do big projects like this apron (minus the tutu XD lol)!

I'd love to see those dolls!
Aprons are so much easier to make than dolls (unless the fabric was pre-patterned).

Don't worry. Nothing becomes easier, we only get better. I was able to make a nurse's uniform for my daughter thrice; I see improvements everytime I make a new one.

  7. Oh, so that's how a tutu apron looks like. It's sooo cute! I wish I was as skilled as you with the needle but I can't even sew buttons on properly. LOL! Would you happen to be selling the stuff you sew? I've a pretty daughter who always ends up wearing denims and skirt coz I so lack any fashion sense. :(

I would like to consider selling, but I'm uncertain of it's quality. I usually do this for fun. I don't have a formal training, or any training at all, so I do everything manually. But I could try making one for her, for free. ;)
