Back to School

Look who's ready for school :)
school girls
as I've said before, my daughter's baby alive doll, Princess, is very much a part of  our  family.

And this is the reason I've been very busy lately, been juggling wrapping books and notebooks, buying school supplies, and sewing this little uniform. :)

My Tinkerbell :)

I sure did miss blogging.

Anyway, I've already finished my baby's tinkerbell dress.
Actually, I've finished it a long time ago, but never really made my daughter try it until recently. I don't know, I just got lazy I guess.
HAHA.

Before and after making this dress, I still couldn't decide if I'd make her skirt a tutu.

So, I decided to make one for Princess, her baby alive doll, just to see how it'd look with a tutu.
And this was the outcome:

I loved it, so I decided to make her skirt tutu.

After she got bruised. She got out of balance while doing a pose.

Her tinkerbell shoes used to be her school shoes, btw. :)

Baby Alive as Tinkerbell

The moment my daughter and I saw Hasbro's Baby Alive: My Real Baby doll, we just fell in love with her. But before buying her, to make sure she'll be worth it, I did some research. I got excited when I found out we could dress her up. The excitement was short-lived, though. The only baby alive doll accessories available here in the Philippines are the food, juice, and diapers. But it didn't stop me from buying her, of course. It was love at first sight. How can anybody or anything stop me? HAHA. But it also didn't stop me from dressing her up. It's a good thing Bear Cuddlers offer not only a wide variety of teddy bears, but clothes for them as well. Although her clothes size is quite hard to find. Animalandia also has a wide selection of clothes, but they're quite pricey.

Anyways, I'm planning to dress up my daughter as tinkerbell. I'm almost done with her dress, but a little skeptic about it's design. So I decided to make one for Princess, our baby alive doll, first.

So here's Princess as Tinkerbell.

Her wings might follow soon, since my Real Princess is asking for it. :)

Graduation Baby

Ever since I gave my baby her Baby Alive: My Real Baby doll, the doll has become very much a part of our lives. We tag her along whenever we can. We dresses her up according to the occasion. And we even gave her gifts last Christmas. So much for a doll, I know, but the joy I see in my daughter's eyes whenever we do those things for her doll is PRICELESS.

That is why I made Princess, her doll, a graduation cap and dress for her graduation.

PF # 2

In memory of my baby's doll stroller, I'm linking this to Pink Fridays.

My cousin's constructing a plane model, and it was so last minute, so we had no choice but to sacrifice it's wheels.
It has now been put to another use, my cousin's project.
